And accident involving a cyclist and a car occurred on Tuesday November 19, 2024 in the southeast of Gers.
The events took place at Endoufielle, on the RD634, around 2:30 p.m.
The cyclist, aged 54 answas taken care of by the firefighters. It was first classified as an “absolute” emergency, before being reclassified by the Smur (Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Structure) doctor as a “relative emergency”, specifies the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of the Gers.
Numerous resources were deployed on site. A Smur helicopter had even been mobilized. But the victim was finally transported by land to a hospital in Toulouse.
15 deaths since the start of the year
This accident occurs in a particular context in the department, where bad figures accumulate in terms of road safety. There have already been fifteen deaths on the roads since the start of the year. You have to go back to 2019 to find a worse record.
