Clareo Lighting, consulted by the Bentin company, supplied the lighting fixtures to equip the circulation areas, rooms and technical rooms of the buildings adjoining the stands.

The Yves-du-Manoir stadium in Colombes is the only venue which will host, in 2024, the second Games in its history, hosting the field hockey events. Two new buildings have been constructed and will house, after the Games, the French Hockey Federation, the Ligue Île-de-France, the departmental hockey committee and, ultimately, a resident club.

The second building will be dedicated to football and rugby. “We intervened at the request of the installer, comments Pierre-Emmanuel Kiehl, technical sales representative, Clareo Lighting, who was looking for solutions to respond to the lighting study already carried out. We offered our low luminance Tubuled luminaires whose slightly recessed lens limits glare. » The Tubuleds offer an efficiency of 130 lm/W, with an IP69 protection rating and IK10 impact resistance. They were installed as wall lights on the stairs, protruding into the circulation areas and changing rooms. The lighting of the latter was supplemented by recessed downlights. All the luminaires supplied have a color temperature of 4,000 K. On the first and second floors, the lighting of the offices and spaces intended for sporting activity, such as the weight rooms, was achieved using light lines in DALI, custom-made because a CRI greater than 90 was requested.

“When we arrive near the buildings, we pass under an awning with a wooden ceiling, Pierre-Emmanuel Kiehl explains. In order to preserve the geometry and warm color of this architectural element, we inserted strips of LED ribbons between the wooden slats. The effect is striking: the light seems to emanate from the wood itself! » Clareo Lighting supplied 1,500 light points for all technical spaces, offices and circulation areas of the two buildings.
