“Christmas for all in Briançon and Serre-Chevalier” returns this year for its 6th edition. The big call for solidarity is launched until December 8 to collect donations for the benefit of the most deprived.
He is undoubtedly the most generous Santa Claus in Briançonnais. This year again and since 2019, entrepreneur Mickaël Guyot is organizing “Christmas for all in Briançon and Serre-Chevalier”, a major solidarity operation aimed at the most deprived people.
A major call for solidarity has been launched until December 8. Donors will be able to drop off new or used books, stuffed animals and toys in good condition and clean at around ten collection points in the town of Briançon.
The gifts will then be carefully wrapped before being distributed by Red Cross volunteers on Saturday December 21 in the Prorel room in Briançon.
“The restaurant and hairstyles for everyone”
As in 2023, the town hall and several restaurants in Briançon are joining the initiative. Restaurant meals will be offered to isolated elderly people, homeless people or single-parent families.
For the first time, this year, hairdressing sessions for disadvantaged elderly people will be offered in partnership with Virgin Coiffure. Christmas boxes for the homeless with food, beauty products and sweet words will be distributed.
The Red Devils ice hockey club and the D3 of Briançon will also take part in the action by offering a huge stuffed toy throw during an upcoming sporting event. These soft toys will then be given as gifts.
A Facebook group allows organizers to centralize actions.
