Seven entrepreneurs carrying innovative projects, a jury made up of professionals from the entrepreneurial world… The second edition of “StartMeUp”, inspired by “Who wants to be my partner?”, returns on December 12 to the premises of Agglomération.

“On wants to be a reference in innovation”projects Monique Bultel-Herment, twelfth vice-president of the agglomeration. Thursday, December 12, from 6 p.m., the second edition of “StartMeUp” will put seven participants in competition before a jury made up of bankers, business leaders, etc. Young companies less than two years old or future business leaders who want to set up in Aveyron, each carefully selected candidate will present their project in three minutes, followed by five minutes of questions. An entrepreneurship competition organized by Rodez Agglomération to support innovative project leaders and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in the region.

Two winners among seven candidates

Following the success of the previous edition, with more than 200 participants and 1,200 views online, the challenge is being renewed. This year, the Rodez Agglomération amphitheater will exclusively welcome professionals, upon registration. Hosting Sandrine Casses, born in Rodez and the instigator of the podcast Le deux. But the general public still has their say! Broadcast live on YouTube, it will have to elect its winner, in the same way as the professionals. The result is one-year support within the Rodez Agglomération incubator or business nursery.

Between adapted training sessions and individual meetings, this final is an outcome for these young entrepreneurs, after three months of support. “The start of a business is an emotional elevator. Sometimes it goes well, other times it doesn't. It's an opportunity for us to interact with people who are neutral to our project and to receive advice”confides one of the candidates. A challenge for Raphaël Girardin, coach of the seven participants, but also for the M6 ​​show “Who wants to be my partner?” from which the challenge is inspired. “They need to be compelling, touching and entertaining, and my advice needs to help them throughout the life of their business.”
