Thursday, June 20, the Auverboost awards ceremony took place at the Hôtel de Région in Clermont-Ferrand. The rewarded young entrepreneurs will benefit from financial assistance to realize their project of creation, takeover or development of activity.

Thirty preselected projects were auditioned at the Clermont-Ferrand regional hotel by a jury made up of partners from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Orientation, former winners and entrepreneurship players in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The evaluation focused on the viability of their business plan, the quality of their pitch and the development prospects of their project.

The awards ceremony, the highlight of this Thursday, June 20, revealed the 25 new winners who will benefit from financial support in order to develop or realize their project.

Creativity and determination

All the winners are located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and aged between 18 and 30 years old. They stand out for their creativity and determination. Driven by the desire to realize their projects, they dared to undertake in various fields of activity such as fashion, culture and leisure, well-being, catering, crafts, digital, etc. Discover the list of winners by clicking here.

“Because entrepreneurship is also a path of orientation, twice a year we support young project leaders, aged 18 to 30, in their entrepreneurial adventure,” indicates Mickaël Paccaud, president of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. orientation. In addition to educational support, we provide them with financial assistance which can be a real “boost” in their business creation or takeover project. Auverboost participates directly in the development of the regional economy, by concretely supporting future young traders, craftsmen and business leaders. »

The future key players in the regional economy

The new winners have the potential to become key players in the regional economy. To support these initiatives, the budget amounts to €30,750, distributed between the projects. The objective of Auverboost is to support the initiative and autonomy of young people, to support them to promote the success of their projects and to create a dynamic partnership between all the players in the system. Since its creation in 2012, it has now counted more than 500 winners and has enabled the creation of more than 600 jobs.

Initially present in the four Auvergne departments, Auverboost is gradually expanding across the regional territory. Since 2020, applications have been open to candidates from the Loire and Rhône, i.e. six departments covered.

This action also benefits from the support of numerous partners: the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the departments of Allier and Puy-de-Dôme, the city and metropolis of Clermont-Ferrand, COQPIT, CYCOMA, Enedis, Phoebus Communication and GCE. This system benefits from co-financing from the European Social Fund.
