The accident occurred on rue des Perrières. According to initial information from the gendarmes, a young man from the town was working on a vehicle. He was trapped and found himself pinned under the vehicle. The jack which held the vehicle in place would have given way according to our information. The young man was changing an exhaust pipe.
Quickly alerted, the firefighters and the SMUR team took care of the victim, who had been seriously injured in the head. Despite an attempt at resuscitation, the young man was pronounced dead.
