The International Amazigh Film Days (JIFA) of Ars-sur-Moselle, a unique event of its kind in the Grand Est region, is celebrating its 8th edition this year.
This presents several documentary films at the Union Cinema this Saturday and Sunday.
THE BLACK PATH

FOUROULOU

The film retraces the journey of Fouroulou Menrad, the main character of Mouloud Feraoun's (1913-1962) first novel, Le Fils du pauper, published in 1950. The work, where the author introduced autobiographical elements from his childhood to village Tizi Hibel, traces the life of Fouroulou, the shepherd child born into a poor family, in a small village in Kabylie, and who will become a teacher.
