The main suspect is also missing.

The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) announced in a press release that the victims were “safe and sound”. They are all aged in their early twenties.

According to our information, the suspects initially wanted to kidnap influencer Kevin Mirshahi, a 25-year-old man who is in the crosshairs of the Financial Markets Authority for his role in an alleged cryptocurrency fraud. He also owns a luxury apartment. The individual has no criminal history.

However, when they arrived at the scene, three other people were there. The whole group had therefore been kidnapped.

On Friday, the vehicle believed to have been used by the kidnappers to transport their victims was set on fire in Laval.
