Thursday July 4, Place des Platanes, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., the gourmet market guaranteed 100% local producers will take place. On the square, that evening, you will find the Marquenry farm: spirulina samosas, the Dauba farm and its Landes plate, the Lorthe farm will offer you a calf’s head with the chef’s sauce. The beef will be cooked by the Clerc farm, the trout delight by the EARL du Pont de Jeannin and the Rossini duck breast by the Haut Clouzet farm. For dessert, you will have the choice between cheeses from the Lorthe farm, ice creams from David Lemee and pastries from Philamande. Question of wines: Chalosse from the Lisé estate, wines from Tursan des Pentes de Barène and, finally, the Armagnac from the Martin estate. The bread will be baked by the Saint Martin bakery. Tasting good quality products in a friendly atmosphere is the aim of these markets which, each year, are a great success; they are also an opportunity to interact with local farmers and, why not, to extend these taste discoveries by adopting other modes of consumption. Remember to bring your bags, transport box and cutlery.
