| The SCABB is very pleased to formalize the arrival of Arthur Bryuas (23 years old, 198cm) within its ProB squad for the 2024/2025 season. Trained at the Chorale de Roanne, Arthur Bruyas (23 years old, 198cm), Arthur joins the SCBVG in 2020/2021 (as part of an AS license: Espoirs Chorale and ProB SCBVG). He then continued his career in St Vallier before returning to the north of the Loire. Last season he played in Pau where he played a major role. A player with a complementary profile with Jonathan Hoyaux, he will bring his scale and his ability to defend on any type of profile. He fits perfectly with the swingman profile that I was looking for with an ability to put the ball on the ground and to be dangerous on pick and roll in aggressiveness or in his often accurate readings. He will also give us wingspan and defensive foot speed with an ability to defend on different types of opposing profiles and sizes. - Michael Oguine completes the choral back pull
The Roanne Basket Choir is pleased to announce the arrival of American-Nigerian guard Michael Oguine (27 years old, 1.88 m). This Cotonou player will bring his knowledge of the championship, since he will continue a fifth season in ProB in Roanne. He wore the Elan Béarnais jersey during the 2023/24 financial year (14.3 points and 2.9 assists in nearly 28 minutes per game on average), after spending time with Souffelweyersheim, Saint-Chamond and Denain .
Strong defender, aggressive towards the circle thanks to his speed and explosiveness, the Californian trained at Montana is renowned for his athletic qualities but also his ability to score from long distance. It can also be used at hand. Michael Oguine was Dylan Affo Mama’s teammate in Pau, and has friendships with Terrell Gomez, whom he faced in the Big Sky Conference in D1 NCAA.
Thomas Andrieux: “Michael is a player referenced in ProB, who in my opinion can still progress in certain aspects of the game. With his crossing ability, he will bring us a lot of creation, while being a defensive leader.
