Affected by packages, C’Chartres Boxe will only offer one pro fight against three planned, this Saturday, June 22, during its annual gala, but it will take the opportunity to highlight its representatives with twelve amateur fights on the menu.

Five fights bid at federal auction. In constructing the program for its gala, C’Chartres Boxe thought it had protected itself against the hazards already encountered during previous editions. But if the contracts were signed, four packages, including two last minute, complicated things. And the search for replacements remained unsuccessful. “We looked in France, but also in Georgia, Belgium, Serbia and even England… We really struggled,” confides the club president, Jean-Louis Benarab.

The menu proposed, this Saturday, June 22, will therefore include a single professional fight. As part of a quarter-final of the Jean-Claude Bouttier Challenge, a tournament created by the French Federation, he will pit two light heavyweights with modest records against each other: the Tourangeau Loïc Kilinan (3 defeats against the Montargois Alexis Cloarec) and the Franc-Comtois Robin Reguillot (2 wins, 1 loss). They will enter the ring at the end of the evening, around 11 p.m., for a 6-round “match”.

Brianne, Léger, Le Bihan and Ballout…

Before that, during twelve amateur fights, C’Chartres Boxe will give pride of place to its foals. While the period is not necessarily favorable, the club managed to find an opponent for eleven of its licensees. Among them, the three-time elite regional champion Tristan Brianne will face Evan Baladier (Fight Industry) in the -71 kg category, while Loïs Léger will face the hopeful Timona Aritai (Angers).

Among the youngest, at the start of the program, two girls from the CCB will be there: junior Thaïs Le Bihan and cadet Zahera Ballout, crowned French champion in educational boxing last year. “There is a great program and we will have a spectacle,” announces Jean-Louis Benarab. It’s up to his boxers to keep him in the ring.

Chartres (Jean-Cochet hall), this Saturday June 22, from 7:30 p.m. Admission: €15 (free for under-12s).
