A student from Marguerite-Berger college, in Pas-en-Artois (Pas-de-Calais), had the honor of receiving her college diploma from Mika. Friday November 8, the famous singer made the trip as godfather of the 2024 edition of the Telethon, reports France Bleu Nord.
Félicie, the schoolgirl in question, who suffers from myopathy, is in fact an ambassador for the Telethon this year. While the principal of the college made the teenager believe that there was a small problem with her diploma, Mika then showed up with the said document in hand. The scene was filmed by Félicie's mother. “Today my mother's heart overflowed with tears of joy and love! », she wrote on Facebook.

“You are also an ambassador of perseverance”
“We are so proud to have him with us and frankly, it’s a very, very nice meeting for me,” said Mika, in front of an assembly of students and staff members. And added: “You are also an ambassador of perseverance, you show that when we want to continue with education, we can find a way to do it even when, frankly, it is not always very obvious. »
The 2024 edition of Telethon will take place on November 29 and 30. Usually, the charity event is always organized on the first weekend of September but this year it was brought forward due to the festivities planned for the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral. Last year, more than 92 million euros in donations were collected.
