Friborg senator Johanna Gapany and Valais national councilor Philippe Nantermod announced at the start of the year that they would not seek a new mandate as vice-president.

Florence Bettschart-Narbel already represented the Latin cantons on the steering committee of the Swiss PLR. This lawyer, an MP for seven years, is the first woman to chair the Vaud cantonal section of the party, since January 2023.

Cyril Aellen joined the National Council last December. Also a lawyer, he sits notably on the social security and public health committee of the Chamber of Cantons.
