Region – Olympic Games-2024 – Swimming: find out who are the 30 Blues qualified for Paris

Last Saturday before the French championships, the manager of the Blues, the Vauclusian Olivier Nicolas, just like the national technical director Julien Issoulié, had estimated between “20 et 30” the number of swimmers able to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games (July 26 – August 11). On the evening of the final day of competition, this Friday, the French Federation communicated a list of 30 names – without detailing the commitments in the relays – who will make up the French collective for these Olympic Games at home, at Paris La Défense Arena.

This is therefore the high range, more than for Tokyo (25), three years ago. Since then, the French team has been considerably renewed (Metella, Bussière, Mignon, Pothain, Lesaffre are no longer there), but this summer it will rely on its three headliners: Florent Manaudou, in the running for a 4th medal in the 50m, Maxime Grousset (50m, 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly) and Léon Marchand, who could achieve a unique and exceptional quadruplet (200m medley, 400m medley, 200m butterfly, 200m breaststroke).
