The students of Experimental high school (CLE) d’Hérouville Saint-Clairat the gates of Caen (Calvados) presented their film on Wednesday June 12, 2024. During a workshop in the first quarter, they designed and produced a short film about addiction prevention. “This was the outcome of a request made by MILDECA (Interministerial Mission to Combat Drugs and Addictive Behaviors), the City of Caen, the League Against Cancer, the House of Addictions, the ARS , Addiction France and the CJC (Young Consumer Consultations),” explains François-Michel Dupont, the establishment’s principal education advisor, who initiated this project with Loïc Buczkowicz, audio-visual professor.

Raise awareness without stigmatizing

The objective is to raise awareness among young peoplethrough a short video, on the consumption of addictive products such as cannabis, alcohol or tobacco, video games, etc.

The aim was to encourage the identification of resource places, without being stigmatizing.
