AJA will return to Ligue 1 at home against Nice and will finish against PSG

The LFP unveiled this Friday, June 21, 2024, the calendar for the 2024-2025 Ligue 1 season. For its return to the elite, AJ Auxerre will begin the championship at Abbé-Deschamps against Nice, on the weekend of August 17 and 18.

Against whom will AJ Auxerre return to the elite on the weekend of August 17 and 18? Auxerre supporters have been asking themselves this question since the Ajaïstes’ comeback was made official last May. The answer is now known as the Professional Football League unveiled the complete calendar for the 2024-2025 season this Friday. Christophe Pélissier’s men will launch their championship against OGC Nice, at home. A well-known opponent, since AJA faced the Nice team in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France at the start of the year, with an elimination on penalties (0-0, 4-2).

A first big piece to start, and an even bigger one to finish. The Auxerrois will travel to the Parc des Princes, to challenge PSG, on the last day of Ligue 1, May 18, 2025. Hoping that by then, the maintenance will already be in place.
