After Jean-Paul Belmondo last year, the From the Written to the Screen film festival is featuring the face of actress Romy Schneider (1938-1982) for its 2024 edition.

A choice explained by Vanessa Lhoste, the artistic director of the festival which will take place this year, from September 20 to 26 in Montélimar: “Romy Schneider has been with us for so long that it seems to us that we have always known her. Its light remains of rare intensity. »

Immortal actress

“Romy has changed her life several times, left people and countries to start all over again elsewhere,” she says again about the star of Sissi (1955) et The Old Gun (1975). “She snatched the roles she wanted, attracting the attention of the greatest filmmakers of her time. His films have forever marked the history of cinema. »
