Linguère, June 21 (APS) – The department of Linguère (North) registers 3,588 candidates for the sixth grade entrance exam and the Elementary School Ending Certificate (CFEE) exam, we learned from the Inspector of education and training, Mamadou Aliou Diallo.

“In total, 3,588 candidates including 2,229 girls will take the sixth grade entrance exam and the CFEE for 2024 compared to 3,233 in 2023, an increase of 355 registered,” he declared to the APS.

Candidates will be distributed across 24 examination centers across the department.

The inspector assured that all useful measures are taken for the smooth running of the exams following a departmental development committee (CDD).

The phase of administering the tests for the 2024 session of the CFEE and the sixth form entrance examination requires the mobilization of 432 dedicated supervisors in the work, he said.

To secure the tests, from their removal to their transportation to the decentralized level, an effective system has been put in place by the IEF to ensure these operations, assured the IEF.

The prefect of the department requisitioned three vehicles, in addition to the two available to the IEF for better coordination of examination centers with priority given to the most remote areas of the Linguère department, added Inspector Diallo.
