The Fiuminale duo, formed by Maxime Merlandi and Jean Philippe Guissani, will give a concert of Corsican songs on Wednesday June 26 at 8:30 p.m. in the Notre-Dame de l’Espinasse church in Millau.

A few days after the music festival, time for the duo Fiuminale and its Corsican songs which will perform on Wednesday June 26 in Millau. Formed by Maxime Merlandi and Jean Philippe Guissani, each with 20 years spent within the Corsican polyphonic ensemble Barbara Furtuna and hundreds of concerts given around the world, the two artists come together to share the songs that have marked their journeys .

Corsica far from the clichés

Through a repertoire of traditional, sacred and creative songs, they recount in music a friendship of more than 40 years without ever falling into nostalgia. It is at the foot of Capicorsu, in Nebbiu where they grew up that they continue to draw their inspiration, telling the story of Corsica, far from clichés and commonplaces.
