Rare are the brunches which stand out from the crowd Paris. What if we tried something other than the all-you-can-eat buffets with great potential? wastetoo often filled with the same average quality sweets? Notice to the curious who love their Sunday meeting: the pretty one Lady of the Arts hotelnestled in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Présnow offers a brunch with a unique… Mexican-inspired menu! Price of the offence: €38. Who says better?
A Latino brunch that's out of the ordinary
A stone's throw from the square Saint-Michell’4 star hotel Lady of the Arts propels you into the resolutely distinguished universe of designer Raphaël Navot. While in the background a terrace lush that we love to hang out on sunny days, the room gives pride of place to beige tones and rounded lines.
In the kitchen, Othoniel Alvarez Castaneda is in charge! Of Mexican origin, the chef unfolds his version of brunchmixing the essentials on the menu (detox juice, pastries, toast, hot chocolate, matcha latte…) with traveling creations. Then a panoply of Latin-flavored delights arrive on the table: prawn empanadas and crunchy vegetables or vegetarian to dip in two homemade mayonnaises (spicy or smoked), Egg Benedict style super fresh pimped with a tomato compote and tacos whose recipe changes every week. For us: at pulled pork or veggie with mushrooms and broccolini (yum). For dessert, a fruit salad and, that day, a chocolate ganache and white chocolate cream. Verdict: excellent value for money, a refined location and attentive service.
Brunch by reservation, Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. €38 per person.
