If the transfer window turns out to be rather calm for the moment in Ligue 2, FC Metz formalized the departure of its number 2 goalkeeper, Guillaume Dietsch, near Dender in Belgium. Number 3, Marc-Aurèle Caillard, should also not be retained at the end of the contract on June 30. And according to information from Républicain Lorrain, Alexandre Oukidja is not yet certain to remain number 1 at the club in 2024-2025.

Indeed, the regional daily indicates that the SC Bastia came to the information. The arrival of Frédéric Antonetti as sporting director of Sporting is not unrelated to this interest, since the goalkeeper’s advisor is none other than… Pierrick Antonetti, his son. Oukidja was also Fred Antonetti’s first recruit in Metz when he arrived in 2018.

A little later in the day, the Algerian international reacted through his Instagram profile and denied the information, indicating in particular that SC Bastia had not taken “ no information » about his situation.

Alexandre Oukidja’s message on his Instagram profile:

« Very surprised by the information published this morning in the Républicain Lorrain which is completely false. SC Bastia did not take any information about my situation. I regret that the newspaper did not even take the trouble to contact me, my representatives or myself to cross-check this false information. We certainly won’t know who the source is. But his malicious intentions are obvious. I am under contract with FC Metz for another season and I have been available to my club as before each season for 6 years now. »
