With a total of 5,989 licensees spread across 48 clubs, Tarn tennis is doing well. We also note the continued progression of padel, which has crossed the 1,000 mark, and the arrival of a new discipline, pickleball, managed by the French Tennis Federation (FFT). Coming from the United States, this practice has already won over several fans, via two clubs in 81 which have had courts since the start of the school year in September: USSP Albi and Cèdres Côté Club in Castres.

During this general assembly which was elective for the 2024/2028 Olympiad, Pierre Rouanet was re-elected president and will be accompanied, for the next four years, by a renewed steering committee.
The assembly closed with a presentation of rewards to the clubs, medals to deserving volunteers and an ovation to the Tarn French champion over 45 years old, Caroline Mittag-Rossel, selected for the French team for the championships of team world in its category.
The committee also showed its satisfaction with the Groupe Avenir Départemental (GAD), which brings together, on the committee's grounds in Albi, the best young people from Tarn with specific weekly training (physical and mental preparation) supervised by Arnaud Mariou, advisor. territorial sportsman. This Tarn departmental group represents a strong point for Occitan tennis.
