Since Saturday June 8, 2024, a new tavern opened its doors on theSaulcy Island in Metz. Nicknamed “The Sea Effect”this ephemeral establishment invites Messins to come have a drink on the banks of the Moselle in an island atmosphere until Sunday September 1st.

“We have a garden side with a pétanque court a few meters away and we have mini golf which is about to open. We also have this magnificent view of the lake 5 minutes from downtown Metz,” explains Florian PITSCH, manager of the tavern.

After “Tadam”, it is now “L’Effet Mer” which can be found at Saulcy.

“L’Effet Mer” is open every day from 11:00 a.m.. The tavern generally closes around midnight on weekdays and around 2:00 a.m. on weekends. Activities are planned throughout the summer season, including concerts every Friday.

On the menu, we find platters, grilled meats, salads and gourmet desserts. The bar offers a wide choice of cocktails, wines and digestives.
