The water cuts planned until Monday June 24, due to drought, in Fort-de-France, Schœlcher, Lamentin and Saint-Joseph are suspended. If Odyssi mentions a “slight improvement in the situation”, the water balance “remains sensitive”.

Good news for the residents of Fort-de-France, Schœlcher, Lamentin and Saint-Joseph. The water cuts which were planned by Odyssi until Monday June 24, “due to the persistent drought leading to a significant drop in the resource” are canceled.

The recent rains and the optimization of water distribution have allowed a slight improvement in the situation, allowing us to suspend today, Wednesday June 19, 2024, until Monday June 24, the planned outages on all 4 communities.

The water and sanitation management company in Martinique emphasizes that the water situation “However, it remains sensitive.”
