The 2026 edition of the great festival of maritime traditions, in Sète, is already under construction.

Barely after the 2024 edition, the Escale à Sète association is already at work for… 2026! This new edition, which will take place in Sète from March 31 to April 6, 2026, is currently under construction. “We anticipate as best we can to offer future visitors even more spectacle, traditions and authenticityis happy to specify Wolfgang Idiri, the director of Escale, expected from July 12 to 17 in Brest for the Maritime Festivals, which will bring together a multitude of boats and sailors. Escale à Sète is sponsor of the Mediterranean village. We are very proud to bring our values ​​to Brittany.”

Behind the scenes, the director and his team have already launched the major maneuvers with a view to 2026. “Our letters have arrived from around twenty foreign countries that own large sailing ships. We are awaiting responses, and we already have the support of the City of Sète, the maritime prefect of the Mediterranean Gilles Boidevezi at the embassies, and the prefect of Hérault Francois-Xavier Lauch for direct ministerial support.”

Within two years, Escale à Sète hopes to convince new delegations and new boats, by offering them the opportunity to further expose their culture within the village of Escale. “We have hopes, dreams, and we just want to make them come true”fingers crossed Wolfgang Idiri.
