Originally from Tarn, it is in Ariège that Fadela B., nicknamed “Fafa”, has disappeared since November 4. The fifty-year-old, who recently moved to the hamlet of Eycherboul with her partner, has not given any sign of life since her departure for a rave party.
Our colleagues from The Dispatch announced today that a suspect has been arrested. Indeed, we learn that, on the Plateau des Sorcières, the location of the event in which Fadela participated, a caravan is now sealed off by the gendarmerie. If the accidental trail was until now favored, investigators are now turning to the criminal theory.
The investigation continues in Ariège
We learn in the columns of the newspaper that the suspect was arrested following the testimony of someone close to Fadela. The latter would have informed investigators that she felt threatened by someone close to her. The arrested person, a former Ariège soldier living secluded in a cabin in Biert, was indicted this Monday for murder by an investigating judge at the Toulouse judicial court.
For the moment, the forty-year-old, who is already known for acts of violence, has not confessed to the possible homicide. While the investigation was entrusted to the Toulouse research section and the Ariège gendarmes, the body of Fadela B. has still not been found.
