Barely back in Toulouse, swimming star Léon Marchand, who trains in the United States, went to Chartres. It is in Chartres that the French championships have been taking place since Sunday June 16, qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, for Léon Marchand and the other TOEC runners-up. And it is currently a hit.

Now qualified for the Olympics over three distances

Crowned French champion in the 200 meter butterfly distance, Léon Marchand was also crowned French champion in the 200 meter breaststroke this Wednesday 19th, less than an hour later. The TOEC Dolphins prodigy therefore qualified today for the Olympics over both distances. Already on Monday, Léon Marchand won his ticket for the Olympics in the 400 meter medley. But the Toulouse star remained unsatisfied, not satisfied with his time or his feelings.

Note that in the final of the 200m breaststroke, it was another member of the TOEC Dauphins, Antoine Viquerat, who finished second but he did not get his ticket for the Olympics due to not having reached the minimums.
