The business manager, former manager of the Montauban swimming club, came away delighted with his meeting with Léon Marchand: “he was aware of this buzz so it made me happy. At the end he stopped to sign autographs with fans and we took a moment for me to give him the box of candy. He was delighted. It's still an incredible event to have a quadruple Olympic champion swimming with departmental and regional level swimmers.
