A man was arrested on Tuesday November 12 on a train between Marseille and Nice, he is suspected of several murders of homeless people. Murders committed each time with the same operating procedure.
In recent weeks, several homeless people have been killed using aid of a concrete block late in the evening while they were sleeping in the street in Évry, Dijon, Strasbourg and the day before yesterday in Lyon. There was also an attempt in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. On video surveillance, we see a man lifting a heavy concrete block above him before dropping it on the homeless man.
The suspect was arrested while he attacked a woman on a train. He was actively sought after the events which took place in Lyon. From a police source, he introduced himself as a 32-year-old Cameroonian. His identity is being verified. He is still being questioned this Wednesday morning in Toulon to find out if he could have committed these four murders and this attempt or only part of it.
