Switzerland and more than 20 states are calling on Israel to respect the latest orders of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) from a month ago. On Wednesday before the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, they called on the Jewish state to “immediately put an end to its military offensive and any other initiative in the Rafah region.”

In a joint statement read by the representative of Chile, these States deplored that the Israeli assaults on this city continue, despite the order of the ICJ. They also call on all countries to collaborate with the investigation by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

They warn against any threats and sanctions against employees of this jurisdiction. There must be an immediate ceasefire, the unconditional release of all hostages and unhindered access for humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip, add these more than 20 states.
