It's new but it's already been a busy first few weeks for Mathilde Moy, the new manager of the Coëtmieux hair salon on rue du Four, now named after the clever play on words M & Vous, in Coëtmieux. (Côtes-d’Armor).

“A favorite”

When, by chance on Le bon coin, she saw the ad for the takeover of the Newstyle salon, which had been managed for 7 years by Nathalie Le Gallou, she did not hesitate. “It was love at first sight and it was the perfect opportunity to get started. »

The young hairdresser and beautician, just 23 years old, was bold and despite a few fleeting moments of fear and apprehension, she was not afraid to embark on this great new adventure of entrepreneurship.

Dual Skill

Mathilde, originally from Plouguenast and resident of Saint-Brieuc, cut her teeth in Penthièvre. She obtained her CAP in hairdressing in Lorient, continued with a mention and a BP on a work-study basis in Ploufragan.

She was an apprentice for three years at Vincent in Yffiniac before becoming an employee, once she graduated, in Quessoy at l'Aparté. Last year she obtained her CAP in aesthetics, which allows her today, after her 8 years of experience, to offer her dual skills to the customers of her salon which has been redeveloped in order to have a dedicated room aesthetics, nail care and massages.

Thus, in addition to hairdressing for women, men and children, now makeup, hair removal, facial and body treatments, hand and foot beauty are among the many services offered in the Coëtmieusian salon.
