Anticor will file a complaint against X for “embezzlement of public funds”, two months after the book's revelations The Ogres by Victor Castanet on dysfunctions in private nurseries, France Inter learned on Tuesday November 12 from the anti-corruption association. In his investigation, published last September, the journalist implicates the French group of private crèches People and Baby.

In his book, Victor Castanet recounts, through numerous testimonies, how People and Baby managed to circumvent the limits imposed on the family tax credit, the system which allows a company to obtain significant tax deductions on places in a crèche that it reserves for its employees.

He also points to the counting of nursery hours for children who were not there, yet transmitted to the Family Allowance Fund (CAF), or even the use of partial unemployment during Covid, while asking employees to continue to work.
