A curtain of water around the leak

Several people were evacuated from their homes. Including this man waiting on the sidewalk: “They asked me to come out for safety reasons. I smelled gas,” he said.

A curtain of water was deployed around the site of the leak, in order to block the gas and send it towards the sky, rather than towards homes, while all the pipes were closed.
