Showers and thunderstorms are also expected, particularly in the south of the country.

New floods to fear in Spain

This cold drop will then head towards Spain during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, raising fears of further precipitation while monster floods have already killed 222 people in recent days. “Clearly it’s the nightmare scenario”warns forecaster Guillaume Jausseau on X, supporting satellite images. “A new Dana (cold drop) is expected to isolate itself from Tuesday off the coast of Portugal, risking generating heavy rains along the Spanish coast, drawing abundant moisture from the Mediterranean & Atlantic”he describes.

Fears of this new precipitation mix with anger.
