A 4-year-old child was discovered dead slaughtered in his room. This terrible tragedy would have occurred after a family argument between his parents.
The mother left
Béatrice Moureau, the mayor of the town, provided more details, reports RTL Info. “The wife went to sleep in their bedroom, and the husband on the couch, on the ground floor“, she said. According to her, when the father woke up in the morning, he found that the family car was no longer in its place. At first, he thought that his wife had left with their son, but he still went up to the little one’s room to check.”And that’s where he would have found the child’s throat slain.“, she added.
“It’s infanticide“
An investigation has been opened. The police suspect the mother of having committed the murder. The latter was intercepted in the afternoon, several kilometers from the home.
As part of this case, both parents were interviewed by the police.
The prosecution has so far confirmed a suspicious death and the intervention of a third party. “It’s infanticide“, underlined Catherine Collignon, first deputy of the King’s Prosecutor of Liège.
