Wednesday July 3, 2024the day after its passage in the North, the Olympic flame for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will pass through Pas-de-Calais. The route planned for Arraswhere the festivities will begin in the early afternoon.

Departure from the Saint-Laurent-Blangy nautical base

Here are the details of the route, the departure of which is scheduled for 3:20 p.m., from the Nautic base from Saint-Laurent-Blangy:

  • Val de Scapre Park,
  • Avenue Paul-Michonneau,
  • Place Guy-Mollet,
  • Rue du Marché au filet,
  • Rue Méaulens,
  • Rue des Teinturiers,
  • Rue des Agaches,
  • Rue du Génératl Barbot,
  • Verdun course,
  • Boulevard, Crespel,
  • Boulevard Vauban,
  • Place de Marseille,
  • Boulevard Carnot,
  • Strasbourg Boulevard.

Arrival will be around 4:30 p.m., on the Grand’Place. The City recalls that the passage of the flame, “is a caravan of 50 vehicles, 25 torchbearers who will carry the flame 200 meters but also 250 people on boats departing from the nautical base. »

Festivities from 1 p.m. in the city

Entertainment will be offered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.:

  • Place Guy-Mollet with workshops on martial arts and combat sports,
  • Place des Héros: fun workshops and musical activities (zumba, cardio, choirs, etc.),
  • Place de Marseille: BMX events, circus, handbike…

From 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. the Grand’Place will be a sports square with numerous activities and initiations. On the program: Rhythmic gymnastics, dance, crossfit, acrobatic basketball with the Barjots Dunkers, parade of students from the Pierre-Curie school and the Arras Harmony Orchestra with the flags of 92 nations, exhibition of the 24 works created by the schoolchildren of Voltaire and Molière, exhibition “Les Bleus dans les Jeux” with CDOS 62, live-painting of a work with the artist Ségolène Cassoret.

The giants of Arras will also take part in the party, which has other surprises in store for you.
