It has become a popular meeting place… Since its opening, this Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris, the MIF, the “Made in ” trade show, has been taken over by assault by the public, with the promise of large crowds until its closure on the evening of Monday, November 11.

The regional chamber of trades and crafts of Burgundy-Franche-Comté obviously had its space, like the other regions of France. The opportunity to highlight small craft businesses that could not afford a professional show.

But the interest is obviously and above all for these artisans and entrepreneurs to be able to meet the public, to exchange ideas, to explain the work “made in France”. And the “made in Burgundy – Franche-Comté” has obviously met with success.

“At Selenium, we make enameled metal, decorative metal, signs, decorative plaques, reproductions of old advertisements… We can make bathroom plaques, we can do everything needed in the kitchen, the splashbacks. There are no real limits to applications. Enamel does not rust, the colors do not fade, it is food safe, the colors are durable.
It's our first show, I didn't expect there to be so many people. It's true that we sell a lot to resellers, so today we are faced with the end customer. It's super interesting because we get the feelings of the people who are going to use the product. That's super important for us because it allows us to know people's feedback on our products…And for the moment it's rather positive! Everyone has complimented us so it's true that we're really happy. »

“Mendme is a fashion item repair workshop, but also an outsourced repair service for businesses, for fashion brands, for local boutiques. We have a workshop where we will find a shoemaker and we will be able to repair all the items that will be in a dressing room. We are present on the internet, which allows us to be available to everyone throughout France. We are accessible to everyone. In just a few clicks on our website, you will be able to take your order and be able to drop off your package directly at relay points. You can also drop it off at free relay points in your city of Dijon.
This is my first time at the show, because the company was established in April 2024, so this is our first opportunity to be at the show. This is our first major showcase and we are very happy to be invited by the CMA, to have been selected for it.
At the show, it was complicated to come with sewing machines so we said to ourselves that we would try to do a lot of education on maintenance and therefore we explain how to maintain leathers how to maintain textiles too, your shoes, your bags, etc… We are going to sell all our cleaning products with our advice and then we also sell belts that we made in the workshop, in leather, to show the craftsmanship of which we are capable and the know-how of our shoemakers.”

Les Anises de Flavigny (21)

be7661e841.jpgThey are known worldwide and this is undoubtedly why they are popular with the public. Because from Friday, the famous Anis de Flavigny enjoyed success. With the latest: The Olympic boxes, but also the discovery box with 91 sachets of two candies for 13 flavors… Or even the collection of medieval boxes. Something to delight collectors. Every year 200 tonnes of small candies are made, or 200 million.
Flavigny Anis are exported to 40 countries, which accounts for 30% of the annual turnover of 5 million euros. Japan, the United States, Germany and Italy are among the biggest importers… The United States has a weakness for violet-scented anise… In Asia it's more lemon and rose… And in Europe Anise and violet.
