This brewer from Maine-et- puts his beer at the service of type 1 diabetes

It's a meeting that could only take place at the Cercle Pointu in Chemillé, in the Mauges: that of a beer brewer and a mother of two diabetic children. Result: a beer with a label recalling the distinctive signs of type 1 diabetes, to be sold as part of World Diabetes Day.

Sabine Bertrand wears three hats and she sticks to them: she is the mother of two diabetic children, Mathis, 13, diagnosed at 2 and a half years old, and Antonin, diagnosed at 10 years old; she is a designer with part of her activity focused on health and she is also president of the “Anjoudiab” association since 2017. She practices her job at Cercle pointu. And that’s where she met Stéphane Maisonnas, whose brewery “La Commanderie de l’Erablière” is also based at Cercle pointu….
