Jean-Marc Chatard, known as “the Man in Blue”, a figure known to all Limougeauds, died from his injuries at the University Hospital, on the evening of November 8, after being hit, on a bicycle, on the D979 to Eyjeaux, shortly after leaving Feytiat.

The person driving the vehicle involved did not stop after the accident. She surrendered to the police this Sunday, November 10 before being taken into custody for involuntary manslaughter and hit-and-run.

A popular tribute to Jean-marc Chatard, organized by the Véli-vélo association, is planned for Saturday November 16 in Limoges.
