Haute-Corse placed on orange “rain-flood” vigilance from 2 p.m.

Be careful if you are in Haute-Corse. The department was placed on orange “rain-flood” alert on Saturday, November 9 by Météo-France. The alert will come into effect at 2 p.m. “DTemporarily heavy and stormy rain is expected. Intensities could be around 30 to 50 mm per hour in places, and accumulations could approach 80 to 120 mm in 3 to 6 hours. Over the entire episode, the accumulations risk occasionally reaching 150 mm, or even a little more”details the weather institute website.
