Since the morning of Friday November 8, 2024, the increase has intensified, between 25 and 54 (November 8 at 8:00 p.m.).

Over 30 days, France, the high point (base 100) is dated Friday November 8, 2024. The increase has continued since November 2, 2024.
The sudden increase on November 4, 2024 between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. seems to correspond to the dissemination of information relating to attendance at the Vendée Globe Village during its first week (100 compared to 10 to 25).
The increase began at the beginning of October 2024 (10) and reached 25 to 30 around October 20, 2024. Stagnation lasted until the end of October 2024.
The start of the takeoff took place at the beginning of November 2024, logically since the start date of the Vendée Globe 2024 is set for Sunday November 10, 2024.

The first feeling at the start of the 2024 edition is that enthusiasm is at its highest: visits to the Village on the rise (+20% in the first week), media coverage, interest from the population.
It's just a feeling.
And precisely, the research figures Google Trends will allow us to confirm this impression or not.
However, let us remember that it is only an indicatorcertainly important in view of the impact of Google, an indicator which is intended to enlighten the public, elected officials, and strategists of all kinds….
Many other indicators can complement or, perhaps, invalidate the present curves.

We see that with each event, the search curve of Internet users rises slightly. But no event, even when it risks being tragic, can match those at the start in terms of visits.
This remains the strong element, the heart in media matters. Even the arrivals, although re-stimulating interest, do not reach the interest shown in the departures of the skippers.
