At the 2024 Agricultural Show, it was already the exploitation which had enabled the Creuse to win his first medal : the GAEC Chezeau de Nouziers was again decorated this Friday, November 8. On the occasion of the Charolais interdepartmental competition, organized in La Châtre, breeding finished five times in first place.

Spicy, queen of Charolaise

At the SIA, it was Piquante, a five-year-old Charolais cow, and her calf Verlaine who stood out. In Indre, it was once again Piquante which triumphed with first four prizes. The GAEC Chezeau received 15 awards throughout the day.

These auspicious results before the 78th edition of the Charolais breeding competition fair in Boussac, on November 16 and 17. Around forty cattle farms exhibiting 150 animals and a dozen sheep farms are expected in the agricultural hall. Last year, the organizers were able to welcome 2000 visitors.
