There are 11 declared candidates pour the first round of the partial legislative elections in the 1st constituency of the Ardennes on December 1 according to the list communicated by the Ardennes prefecture on Friday November 8. Candidates had until November 8 to declare themselves. The voters of this constituency which goes from Rethel to Charleville-Mézières via Villers-Semeuse, are called to the polls on December 1 and 8 to elect their new deputy, after the resignation of the National Rally deputy. Flavien Termet. Youngest member of the National Assembly elected last July, he resigned for health reasons on October 1.

Among the candidates, we find Lionel Vuibert, deputy of the Renaissance presidential majority until the dissolution of the National Assembly in June and beaten in the second round of the early legislative elections by Flavien Termet, and who presents himself this time without the label “as a free man”. Or even Damien Lerouge, already a candidate last June under the label of the New Popular Front. For its part, the National Rally has invested Jordan Duflot, 27 years old, to try to keep this constituency.
