Earlier, Jamal Belaïdi, municipal councilor of Aurillac and departmental councilor, was also threatened with death following a photo taken where he was in the company of Enrico Macias. The author received a six-month suspended prison sentence, 500 euros in damages and a ban on contact with the victim for five years.

Michel Teyssedou very moved

Christian Montin, president of the association, and mayor of Marcolès took the floor to thank the elected officials present and affirm that “we must carry the hope of our citizens”. A unit has been set up for mayors who feel the need, with legal and administrative support.

Very moved, Michel Teyssedou also thanked his colleagues by affirming that he will not give up and that he will work “for the good of my constituents”.

Michel Fel also took the floor to welcome this mobilization.
