During the past financial year, Winter Aid processed nearly 20,000 requests for assistance and supported more than 50,000 people in Switzerland with its services. As a reminder, Winter Relief provides assistance all year round to people affected by insecurity.

In Switzerland, one in six people is at risk of poverty and must severely limit themselves in their everyday life. The total donations received by Swiss Winter Aid during the year fell to 5.6 million francs, compared to 7.9 million the previous year. This is explained above all by the absence of significant legacies. The highest expenses remain those dedicated to health. Swiss Winter Aid spent 1.4 million francs, compared to 1.2 million the previous year, on dental treatments, therapies, deductibles and other costs that are not taken into account by insurance.

Swiss Winter Relief brings together 27 cantonal and regional offices present in all linguistic regions. They are autonomously organized (including accounting) and are partly responsible for fundraising.
