The collective receptions for minors (ACM) mentioned in article L. 227-4 of the Social Action and Families Code (CASF) and the physical and sporting activity establishments (EAPS) are experiencing strong activity during the period. summer, this is all the more true in the Hautes-Alpes since around 700 holiday stays will take place in our territory with young people aged 3 to 17 years old.

An instruction recalls the guiding principles which must govern the organization of ACMs during this period: the safety of participants, the control of activities as well as the maintenance of a quality educational leisure offer within them, in particular the continuation of the system learning camps.

If overall the controls go rather well, the facilitators are increasingly faced with complex situations (violence, harassment, misuse of social networks, etc.). To support educational teams in some of these situations, the SDJES des Hautes-Alpes has set up training entitled “preventing and combating violence of which children may be victims or perpetrators” with a focus on gender-based and sexual violence.

All ACMs hosted in the department can contact the service on these questions or for other questions related to regulations.

Sports instructors are also subject to the summer control campaign, whether during stays or not. Of the 4,800 sports instructors declared in the region, 5% are checked each summer. The SDJES thus ensures that educators respect their obligation to declare to state services; this verification makes it possible to check their integrity in order to ensure the protection of users.

Since the recent cases of sexual violence in sport, the integrity of volunteers in sports associations is also controlled.
