The Cap-Sizun – Pointe du Raz community council was held on Thursday, November 7 at the Maison des associations in Confort-Meilars. The debates were followed by an audience of around thirty people.
The housing problem in Cape Town occupied part of the debates. Finistère Habitat will build eight social housing units: four pavilions in Goulien and four pavilions in Cléden-Cap-Sizun. The social landlord requested a grant of €100,000 to complete the budget. “We should have established well-established criteria in advance,” regretted Patrick Le Dréau, mayor of Confort. “We feel taken hostage,” added Gurvan Kerloc’h, mayor of Audierne. “Eight housing units for Cap-Sizun, it’s important! Refusing this subsidy would be a bad sign sent to donors,” defended Nadine Kersaudy, mayor of Cléden. The deliberation was finally voted on by a narrow majority: fourteen votes in favor and thirteen abstentions.
Ehpad: a “fragile” financial balance
Bernard Le Gall presented the 2023 activity report of the intercommunal social action center (Cias). In the presence of Maël de Calan, president of the departmental council, the mayor of Mahalon recalled “the fragility of the financial balance of the three nursing homes in the area”. The 2023 budget of Cias amounted to more than 12 million euros. With the three nursing homes (Cléden-Cap-Sizun, Plouhinec, Pont-Croix) and the solidarity center (Plouhinec), Cias employs 219 agents.
Purchase of the France Services building…
The council voted by majority to purchase the Espace France Services building in Audierne. The 437 m² plot, owned by the Department, will be purchased by the community of municipalities for €300,000.
The councilors voted, unanimously this time, for a contribution of €5,190 to the Public Establishment for Management and Development of the Bay of Douarnenez (Epab) for the year 2024.
