The Mutualité française, in partnership with the Local Youth Mission (ML) Hautes-Alpes, invites young people aged 16 to 25 to a free “screening, individual health consultation” course, on Wednesday, November 20 from 1 to 7 p.m., in the premises of local Mission, located at 1 cours du Vœux Moulin in Gap. A dozen health and prevention professionals from the department's various structures will be present.
The course includes screenings (HIV, Hepatitis, STIs, blood pressure, diabetes), assessments (physical activity, oral and dental health, optics, mental health) and access to health professionals allowing: updating of vaccines , to take stock of contraception and emotional and sexual life, cardiovascular diseases, or even their consumption of psychoactive substances. Added to this is information on their access to rights: social security, mutual insurance as well as blood donation (no collection planned for this day, however).
A logbook to ensure simple monitoring
At the end of this course, the young people will leave with a logbook containing prevention advice and free writing spaces so that each professional seen can note the results of the tests, the recommendations given or other information. This notebook can then be used as a memo when the young people consult other professionals outside of the day.
Registration is recommended with the Local Youth Mission on 04 92 53 00 00.
