Even though HBO Max won’t actually launch in Belgium until July 1, enthusiasts can test the new streaming service for free for two weeks starting this Tuesday. During this short period, some titles will only be available in English and French.

From July 1, the Warner Bros. streaming service. Discovery will also compete in our country with Netflix, Disney+, Prime and Apple TV+. But from this Tuesday, June 11, you can already access part of the offer in advance by subscribing to the plan of your choice (except for the Sport module).

Olympic Games

HBO Max will therefore really start in July, including the second season of HBO Original House of the Dragon, the Gaga Chromatica Ball concert, the documentary Taylor Swift VS Scooter Braun and the new comedy The Franchise.

HBO Max will also fully rely on the Paris Olympic Games, which will be part of each subscription package. The separate Sports module (at an additional cost of five euros per month) will also offer even wider coverage of major international events, such as the Grand Slam tennis tournaments and the three Grand Cycling Tours.

Three formulas

The streaming service will offer three different basic packages, as well as a Sports add-on that can be added to any subscription. A Basic subscription with advertising will be introduced at 5.99 euros per month. Users will be able to stream to two devices simultaneously with Full HD picture quality. The Standard plan will cost 9.99 euros per month. In this case, you will be able to watch HBO Max without advertising and view around thirty downloads of the service offline.

Finally, there will be a Premium subscription offered at 13.99 per month. This plan will include streaming on up to four devices simultaneously in Full HD or 4K resolution, and with Dolby Atmos sound (if available on the chosen program). You will also be able to view up to a hundred downloads offline with this plan.
