Around fifty people carried out a punitive expedition, Tuesday November 5, 2024, in the Noyer-Crapaud district in Soisy-sous-Montmorency (Val-d'Oise). Around 8:30 p.m., the attackers broke into a building located on rue de l'Égalité, reports The Gazette du Val-d'Oise .
A confrontation then broke out with a group of young people present in the residence. According to our colleagues, the attackers were equipped with knives, hammers and iron bars. A victim, found on the ground after being stabbed, was taken to hospital. Another young person, injured in the head and one leg, was also hospitalized. The two victims are believed to be aged 19 and 22.
Circumstances to be clarified
Around ten suspects were arrested shortly after the incident. They were taken into custody. An investigation was opened to shed light on this violence. The day before, a fight broke out in front of the Jean-Jacques-Rousseau high school in Montmorency between students and young people from Soisy-sous-Montmorency. It is currently unknown whether the two events are linked.
